Twitch Partner requirements

Three requirements, all measured inside a rolling 30-day window. Meeting them completes the Path to Partner achievement, which makes you eligible to apply. It does not grant Partner by itself.

Twitch Partner requirements as last checked August 2026
Requirement Target
Average viewers 75 avg viewers
Hours streamed 25 hours
Broadcast days 12 days

75 avg viewers

An average of 75 concurrent viewers across your qualifying streams. This is the requirement that decides Partner. The hours and days are achievable by anyone willing to put the time in, but sustained concurrent viewership is not.

25 hours

Twenty-five hours of total broadcast time inside the window, roughly six hours a week. Cumulative across every stream, not per session.

12 days

Twelve separate calendar days live inside the window, which works out at about three days a week. Consistency is scored here, not raw hours.

Affiliate vs Partner, side by side

The jump is steeper than most people expect. The viewer requirement alone is 25 times higher.

Requirement Affiliate Partner
Average viewers 3 75
Hours streamed 4 25
Broadcast days 4 12
Followers 25 Not required

Twitch Partner FAQ

What are the Twitch Partner requirements?

The Path to Partner achievement asks for an average of 75 concurrent viewers, 25 hours streamed and 12 separate broadcast days, measured inside a rolling 30-day window.

Unlike Affiliate, meeting the numbers does not guarantee Partner. Twitch reviews applications and also weighs content quality, community health and whether your viewership looks organic.

Is Partner automatic once I hit the numbers?

No, and this is the key difference from Affiliate. Affiliate is granted automatically when you clear the bar. Partner requires you to apply, and Twitch reviews it manually. Completing the achievement makes you eligible to apply, not partnered.

Twitch also looks for a healthy ratio of organic viewers versus raided or hosted traffic, so how you got the numbers matters as well as the numbers themselves.

How hard is 75 average viewers?

It is roughly 25x the Affiliate bar, and it is the requirement that decides Partner. The hours and days are achievable by anyone willing to commit the time, roughly six hours a week across three days. Sustained concurrent viewership at 75 is a different order of problem.

See our Partner badge guide for what the review actually weighs.

What's the difference between Affiliate and Partner?

Affiliate is the first monetization milestone and is granted automatically. Partner is the second, requires an application and manual review, and unlocks better revenue terms, more emote slots, priority support and the verified badge.

Read the full breakdown in Twitch Partner vs Affiliate, or check the Affiliate calculator if you have not cleared that milestone yet.

Can I lose Partner status?

Yes. Partner agreements carry ongoing expectations around streaming consistency and community standards. Falling well below your qualifying numbers for an extended period, or breaching Twitch's terms, can put the status at risk.
