Twitch prices subs by region, and pays you a share of whatever the viewer actually pays. Enter the prices shown on your channel and every figure recalculates in that currency.

Calculate easily how much Twitch streamers make from Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 subscriptions with our FREE tool. Accurate estimates based on regional subscription tiers, country tax rates, Twitch revenue split percentages (No Plus Program, Affiliate, Partner).

Note

Most Twitch streamers earn the majority of their income from Tier 1 subscribers, which typically make up around 90% of total subs. Tier 2 (5-6%) and Tier 3 (1-2%) subscriptions are much rarer, while Prime Subs usually account for 3–5%. These averages help estimate realistic monthly earnings.

How our free Twitch sub earnings calculator works

This Twitch Sub Earnings Calculator estimates how much streamers earn from subscriptions based on real Twitch payout data and region-adjusted pricing. Here's how your estimated income is calculated:

  1. Base subscription prices

The tool uses Twitch's US web subscription prices: Tier 1 at $5.99, Tier 2 at $11.99 and Tier 3 at $24.99. Prime subscriptions are free for the viewer and pay the streamer $3.00.

  2. Revenue splits

Twitch pays you a proportional share of the subscription price, so your income depends on your payout model. Standard Affiliate is a 50/50 split, giving $3.00 per Tier 1 sub. Twitch Plus Level 1 is 60/40, which is $3.59. Twitch Partner or Plus Level 2 is 70/30, which is $4.19.

  3. Multiple tiers included

Calculations automatically include all sub tiers, so you can estimate income from a mix of Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, and Prime subscriptions.

  4. Tax & regional adjustments

If your country has regional pricing or applicable income tax, the calculator factors that into your total estimate to give a more realistic monthly payout.

  5. Instant results

Enter your subscriber count to instantly see your monthly and yearly Twitch earnings under each split model - whether you're an Affiliate just starting out or a Partner aiming for the 70/30 share.

Twitch subs vs. Bits vs. donations

Subs are not the only way money reaches a channel, and the three routes behave very differently.

Comparison of Twitch subscriptions, Bits and direct donations
Support type Payout model Pros Cons
Subscriptions Recurring income (monthly) Stable, predictable Twitch takes a %
Bits $0.01 per Bit Safe, chargeback-free One-time
Donations (PayPal, etc.) 100% to streamer Full control Risk of chargebacks
